Ouachita's Department of Theatre Arts presents "Hello, Dolly!" April 10-13
March 31, 2025The Department of Theatre Arts in Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Performing Arts will present its spring musical, “Hello, Dolly!,” from Thursday-Sunday, April 10-13 in Jones Performing Arts Center. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

The performance is made possible by the Floyd E. and Dorothy G. Henley Fine Arts Endowment at Ouachita; admission is free and open to the public.
Maddy Moore to present senior recital March 8
March 07, 2024Maddy Moore, a musical theatre major from Mesquite, Texas, will perform her senior recital March 8 at 11 a.m. in McBeth Recital Hall at Ouachita Baptist University. This recital is a project Moore has been working on since last semester and will include music, theatre and dance pieces. The performance is free and open to the public.

Dr. Lei Cai inducted into Steinway Teacher Hall of Fame
December 08, 2023Dr. Lei Cai, professor of piano in the Division of Music in Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Performing Arts, has been inducted into the Steinway & Sons Teacher Hall of Fame. He was recognized during a ceremony held at the historic Steinway piano factory in New York City in October.
