The Body Project is a 4-week group for female students. The goal of this group is to work together to increase body acceptance and decrease therisk for eating disorders. It will be co-led by Sue Poole and Natalie Jones. The group will meet in McClellan Hall Room 203, 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Feb. 21, Feb. 28, March 7 and March 14. Participants are asked to commit to attending all 4 sessions. Sign up in advance by emailing Sue Poole ([email protected]).

Welcome to the Anxiety Toolbox support group intended to help increase your understanding and knowledge about anxiety. The goal is to provide you with some skills to recognize and manage the symptoms you may be experiencing. We hope you find it helpful. Our goal is to provide you with life-long tools you can use while facing anxiety-triggering situations. While occasionally unpleasant, some anxiety can actually be a helpful and motivating emotion. Our hope is that these sessions provide you with a spring board from which to integrate skills into your daily life in the service of reducing anxiety.

Guys! The Conquer Series is a 10-week group for young men seeking help with their efforts to end their use of porn or other sexual addiction activity. It features the expertise, guidance, and instruction of numerous nationally recognized experts in the area of pornography and sexual addiction recovery. This group will assist participants in their effort to overcome this harmful addiction using the Conquer Series DVD video presentations, group discussion, and structured accountability. OBU Counseling Center therapists Kaneil Purifoy and Dan Jarboe will co-facilitate this group. Please contact KaNeil Purifoy at [email protected] or Dan Jarboe at [email protected] if you’d like to join them. The purchase of an associated $15 workbook is strongly encouraged (available through the leaders). The group plans to begin meeting very soon.
