Graduate Schools

Each fall, the Career & Calling team hosts the Graduate and Professional School Fair to introduce students to numerous academic and professional programs. Recruiters are available to talk with students about acceptance criteria, tuition, program specifics as well as what their alumni have gone on to accomplish in their careers. The date of this year's Graduate School Fair is Wednesday, Oct. 19.

A majority of students stop and think about graduate school at some point during college. If you're one of those wondering whether graduate school is a good choice for you, here's a recent "Guide for Potential Grad Students" from Peterson's that can give you some good insight.

• US News & World Report publishes an annual report of Best Grad Schools, which is a helpful place to gather the latest information about rankings and key offerings.

• Gradschools.com includes blog posts, updated program information and search engines for helping students find a program that's a great fit.

• Idealist.org features a Graduate School Resource Center to help potential grad students explore all aspects of their graduate degree exploration.
