The OBU Art Club is community of Ouachita students that share a unique passion for the Art and Design. The club meets once a week in order to build community, discuss volunteer projects, share ideas and offer constructive critique.

Art Club offers "Art Jams" to build community through group art making. Each month a different theme is chosen and the club gathers together to make different art, usually with a movie, music and snacks!

Art Club also serves together through The Elrod Center for Tiger Serve Day. The Art Club makes a team and serves the community together one Saturday each semester.

Annual Juried Art Show

The club also works together to put on the Annual Juried Art Show each year. Students from any major may submit works digitally with an entry fee. The works are then sent to a juror, who then decides what pieces are accepted into the show. Submissions for the Annual Juried Student Exhibit are due at the beginning of March each year. The annual exhibit is held at the end of each spring semester and runs from the end of April through the month of September.  Students whose work is accepted into the exhibit should have their work properly prepared for exhibit.
