About
I am new on faculty at Ouachita, but not new to Ouachita. As an alumnus of Ouachita,
I am thrilled to be back, but in a little bit of a different role.
I am married to Stephen, whom I met here at Ouachita. We have had the privilege of
serving the local church together as he has been in full-time ministry for the past
14 years. We have three beautiful daughters – Hallie (12), Harper (8) and Hope (2).
Fun Facts
Why did you enter the teaching profession?
I love investing in students! The four (or five!) years of college are so valuable
in the life of students in which they are discovering their gifts, talents and who
the Lord created them to be. What a unique opportunity to see students both grow in
their love for the Lord and develop as professionals in their field of study!
What is your go-to snack?
Of course I love fruits and vegetables, but my real favorites are popcorn, peanut
butter M&M's, ice cream and Diet Coke!
If you were anything other than a professor, what would you be and why?
I think it would be fun to be a travel agent! We love to travel and I think it would
be fun to get to travel around the world scoping out exciting places for people to
go.
