Ouachita Baptist University provides health services through the school nurse in the health services office. The physician services are provided by Arkadelphia Clinic for Children and Young Adults in a contract agreement. No physician services are provided by the university.
The mission of Physician Services is to support, encourage, teach, counsel, and treat Ouachita Baptist University students in a university setting. The role of health care professionals is to assist students as they develop and maintain a holistic lifestyle focusing on physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness and to intervene with counseling, education, and medical treatment to restore health when needed.
