Ouachita Baptist University’s annual Spotlight on Arkadelphia community and service fair is set for Tuesday, Aug. 22nd, the first day of the 2017 fall semester. It will be held from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Heflin Plaza and the Student Village circle.
The annual event draws hundreds of Ouachita students, faculty and staff, providing area businesses, churches and organizations the opportunity to interact with the Ouachita community. It is hosted by the Elrod Center for Family and Community.
More than 80 vendors typically participate in Spotlight. Community participants provide free samples, T-shirts, coupons and other giveaways during the festival-style event.

We will be meeting in the Walker Conference Center (Room C) at 12noon; feel free to bring a sack lunch if you are not inclined to grab something from the cafeteria. Note that you may bring a tray downstairs from the cafeteria, and the Sodexo staff will collect them after our meeting. And of course, even if you have not read the book, you are strongly urged to attend. Hope to see you all there!
