Hemsath will open the recital with Mozart’s “Il desio di vendetta” from Lucio Sillia, followed by “Die Forelle” by Franz Schubert, “Extase” by Henri Duparc and Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein’s “Younger than Springtime” from South Pacific. Ryan Cunningham’s “But I Don’t Want to Talk about Her” from I Love You Because will close the recital.
Hemsath is a student of David Stanley, instructor of music, and Drew Hampton, assistant professor of theatre arts. He will be accompanied on piano by Kristen La Madrid, OBU staff accompanist.
