For our fifth meeting of this season’s Gutenberg Conspiracy, Myra Houser will lead a discussion of Lillian Guerra’s Visions of Power in Cuba on Wednesday, February 22nd. We will be meeting in the Walker Conference Center (Room C) at 12noon; feel free to bring a sack lunch if you are not inclined to grab something from the cafeteria. Note that you may bring a tray downstairs from the cafeteria, and the Sodexo staff will collect them after our meeting. And of course, even if you have not read the book, you are strongly urged to attend. Hope to see you all there!
On Monday, April 24th at 12noon, Joe Jeffers will deliver this year’s Last Lecture; please thank him in advance for this service to the Conspiracy. Also, I will gladly take book nominations for 2017-18 at any time. Of course, if you know little about this gathering of book lovers, please read more about it at: http://www.obu.edu/library/gutenberg-conspiracy/.
Grumpy’s Seafood Kitchen will be from 5:00-7:00 in the Alumni Room.
