Dr. Keldon Henley serves as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Prior to entering his role in the fall of 2012, Keldon served Ouachita as University Counselor, Associate Dean of Students, Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Services. In his role in Institutional Advancement, Keldon has the responsibility of oversight for the areas of Admissions Counseling, Enrollment Management, Ouachita Alumni and Career Services.
Keldon graduated magna cum laude from Ouachita in 1986 with a Bachelor of Music degree. He holds a Master of Arts degree in marriage and family counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Education degree in higher education from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. He was honored by the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience as one of 10 Outstanding First-Year Student Advocates for 2011.
Keldon is an active member at First Baptist Church, Arkadelphia, and lives in Arkadelphia with his wife Celeste and son Parker who is attending Arkadelphia High School. Their daughter Annelise graduated from Ouachita in 2013 and their son Grayson is a freshman.

Jon Merryman serves as Director of Ouachita Alumni – directing alumni programing, communications and on-campus events. Jon also coordinates the Ouachita on-line community, the Tiger Network Leadership Award and the Ouachita Circle alumni magazine.
Before returning to Ouachita, Jon served for 4 years in Communications, Events and Church Partnerships at Sweet Sleep, a non-profit organization that provided beds to orphaned and abandoned children; and 7 years in children’s ministry, first as Associate Children’s Minister at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tenn. and then as Children’s Pastor at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tenn. Jon also writes curriculum for and speaks to kids and students through LifeWay Christian Resources, CentriKid Camps and WinShape Camps.
While at Ouachita, Jon was involved in the Ouachita Student Foundation, Campus Activities Board, Kappa Chi Men’s Social Club, Ouachita Sounds, Praise Singers and Ouachita Singers. He is also a survivor of the crash of American Airlines flight 1420, which crashed with a group of Ouachita students on board June 1, 1999.
Jon and his wife Emily (Watts ‘01) are active members of Second Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. They have one son, Dennis, whom they adopted from Moldova in 2008.

Hannah Pilcher helps oversee on-campus events such as Homecoming and Gold Tiger Day and leads much of the administrative work in the alumni office. She coordinates receiving and publishing Class Notes in the Ouachita Circle alumni magazine and oversees our Tigers in Training legacy program. Hannah also serves as the program director of Ouachita Alumni and serves as the Resident Director for Frances Crawford Hall.
While a student at Ouachita, Hannah was a member of Campus Ministries, Concert Choir, Campus Activities Board, Kappa Delta Pi, the Ouachita Student Foundation, was named Who’s Who and was elected 2012 Homecoming Queen. Hannah graduated Summa Cum Laude and enjoys serving on staff at her alma mater.
