Like most students, my college years have consisted of constant and rapid change both in who I am and who I wish to become. I cannot imagine handling those changes outside the love and guidance I found at Ouachita. From the godly counsel of my professors to ministry opportunities like prison outreach to the encouragement of Christian friends, Ouachita has given me a safe place to mature as a Christian scholar. I get to spend the rest of my life in the “real world.” Ouachita has given me a chance to prepare for it in the midst of a caring Christian community.
