The Zimbabwe Initiative
Before Jesus ascended into heaven he told his disciples, "you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." He commanded them first to be witnesses to their home, then to branch off into their neighboring towns and into the world. As the Ouachita community gathers together on March 29, it is our goal that the idea of service will extend far beyond the reaches of Arkadelphia. We wish to minister to the world.

In support of the President's missions initiative, we are asking each team to donate $10 or more towards the summer mission trip that will restore the water supply to a village in Zimbabwe. As you and your team gear up for the serve day events on March 29, pray together about what God might be leading you to give. Donations will be collected on Tiger Serve Day throughout the morning.
