The Student Village opened in the of 2009. Gosser Hall houses 212 upperclass women while East Village Hall houses 148 upperclass men. These buildings offer both private and semi-private suites for four students. Each suite has two bathrooms and a shared living room. Each spacious suite features a living area, either two or four bedrooms, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms. The residence halls include upper level open-air terraces, fitness rooms, laundry facilities on each floor, game rooms, and study rooms. In addition, students will congregate in each building’s central lobby spaces, furnished with all the comforts of home.
Private Suites for Gosser and East Village Halls
Two bedrooms are 10’7″X13’1″.* These rooms each have a 30″X58″ window.
Two bedrooms are 10’7″X11’1″.* While this room seems smaller, it has a cutout for the closet, so the whole length of the room is about 15’8″ long with about 5′ for an entryway. The windows in these rooms are 62″X58 1/2″. The living room is 12’8″X15’9″.* The window in the living room is 82 1/2″X58 1/2″.
Semi-Private Suites for Gosser and East Village Halls
One bedroom is 11′ 11″X12′ 11″ and the other is 11′ 11″X12′ 6″.* The living room is 12′ 2″X15′ 11″.* The window in each bedroom is 62″X58 1/2″ and the window in the living room is 82 1/2″X58 1/2″.
*No unprotected carpet is allowed in the new halls. However, rugs with protective backing are allowed. Nails from Residence Life staff are the only acceptable way to secure anything to the walls.

Furnishings
The Living room of each suite is furnished with a sofa, chair, end table, TV table, and a table and four chairs.
Each student has access to an extra-long (80″) twin bed that may be bunked. Each student will also have access to two stackable, two-drawer chests, which may be unstacked and put underneath the bed. Each student will also have access to a desk. The floors in the rooms are stained concrete.
