A student wishing to have a transcript sent to another institution should request one at least a week before it is needed. The request must be approved by both the Registrar and the Student Financial Services office. No transcript is issused to or for a student who is in debt to the University until such indebtedness has been paid in full.

Transcripts are issued only at the student’s written request. Release of student academic records is subject to the provision of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The first 10 transcripts requested will be free. Each additional transcript will cost $5.00.

Methods Available for Requesting a Transcript

Online Printable Form – Complete this form then mail, fax, or email it to Registrar’s Office. Mailing, fax, and email information is located at the top of the form.

INFO Request – You can request your transcript through your student web portal at http://info.obu.edu/. Enter your username and password then click on the Transcript Request Form link (located at the bottom of the page).

Handwritten Request – If you do not have internet access, please provide the following information in written form and mail to: OBU Registrar’s Office, Box 3757, Arkadelphia, AR 71998

Please include the following information on your written request:

  • The years you attended OBU
  • ID# or social security number
  • Complete name, including any former name(s) (i.e. maiden name, married name)
  • Current address
  • Phone number where you can be reached in case we have a question
  • Address you would like the transcript mail to
  • Your signature
