Southern Cities Course
During Spring Break each year, the Center organizes historic and cultural
study tours of significant southern cities. Ouachita professors lead up to ten students on
this study program and examine the history, architecture, folklife, music, art and
religion of the chosen cities. Students also meet once a week prior to the departure to
hear lectures from the professors. These lectures cover the important aspects of the
designated city and surrounding areas. Three credit hours may be earned from this study
program.
