Research in Regional Studies

The Center serves as an instrument to promote research and preservation of the rich heritage, history and culture of south Arkansas, north Louisiana, east Texas, and southeast Oklahoma. Through academic research, scholarship, service, special conferences, events and partnerships, the Pete Parks Center for Regional Studies and Ouachita Baptist University hope to promote and disseminate the unique aspects of this four-state region.
