Regional Storytelling Festival

Ouachita and the Pete Parks Center for Regional Studies host the Regional Storytelling Festival during each fall semester. The Festival brings regional and nationally recognized storytellers and folklorists to campus to conduct the two-day event. The storytelling festival was begun in 1993 and it continues to provide unique perspectives concerning past and present folklife and lore. The public is invited to participate in all festival events.
