Ouachita’s presidential search committee
considers potential candidates
Following an organizational meeting January 23, members of Ouachita’s Presidential Search Committee met again March 17 to review applications and nominations for the university’s presidency that have been submitted to date.  Materials were collected following national advertisement about the position. Submissions continue to be accepted and subsequent Search Committee meetings are planned.

William H. “Buddy” Sutton, chairman of the board of trustees of Ouachita Baptist University, announced Monday that the university’s search for its next president has begun.

Westmoreland selected for Samford University presidency
Dr. Andrew Westmoreland, president of Ouachita Baptist University, has been selected to serve as the 18th president of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
