Pre-Nursing General Information
A student who wishes to obtain a B.S. degree in nursing may complete the first two years of
course work at Ouachita. A suggested course schedule is available below. A student who plans to enter any nursing program should consult the catalog of the appropriate school before registering at Ouachita. Please note that requirements of professional schools are subject to change, are posted on their websites, and often take effect immediately. Their requirements supersede OBU catalog listings.
Programs are also available for students holding a bachelor’s degree who have also met the prerequisites listed. Consult the listing for the appropriate school.
Please contact your academic advisor and/or the pre-nursing advisor, Dr. Sara Hubbard (email@example.com) with questions or concerns. It is the responsibility of the student to be sure that the necessary prerequisites are being met.
