About the Division of Music
Ouachita's Division of Music has a long, distinguished history of providing opportunities for students to gain professional competence in the art of music. We integrate the highest standards of musical performance with a broad-based curriculum of scholarly studies within the framework of a strong Christian liberal arts tradition. The division is comprised of five music departments. Degree programs are offered in music performance, church music, theory-composition, musical theatre and music education. We also offer a program of general music study (Bachelor of Arts) and a curriculum for students who wish to minor in music. The Division of Music is a member of the National Association of Schools of Music. |
