What Our Students Are Saying
Rance Collins – Hillsboro, Texas
“The mass communications department at Ouachita has given me the opportunity to get hands-on experience in a variety of media. It has allowed me to simultaneously write a column for the paper, contribute articles to the yearbook and produce news packages for the video department. Meanwhile, the classes have taught me everything from publication design to script writing to communication law. Thanks to the department, I am qualified for numerous jobs in this media-centric digital age.”
Holland Powell – Nashville, Ark.
“I know that as I leave Ouachita, the mass communications department has prepared me with an excellent education and hands-on experience that will lead to a positive career path. My experience editing for The Signal has given me the confidence I need to feel I will have an influence in the world of communications.”
