Edison Clark served in the United States Armed Forces as a chaplain from
1942 to 1957. He served in Germany, Korea, and the Solomon Islands
where he saw battle alongside the men to whom he ministered. He earned
the Bronze Star while fulfilling the duties of his military career.
Clark was also a dedicated preacher, ministering in several churches
throughout the south. This collection is a compilation of Clark’s
monthly chaplain reports from 1942 thru 1957, church bulletins,
programs, brochures, and other personal items. It also includes his
chaplain stole, prayer books, song sheets, and other items that he used
during his times of service as a chaplain and a minister.
