Study Abroad Opportunities

    Study at any reputable or accredited college or university abroad which offers courses and some kind of certification of successful completion of their course of study can earn college-level credit by course substitution at OBU.  Consult the Office of the Registrar for specific details.
    The Center for International Studies offers opportunities for study at various universities abroad which could result in college-level credit by course substitution at OBU.  Programs have been established with:

• University of Orleans in Orleans, France

• Salzburg College in Salzburg, Austria (German)

• Al Akhawyn University in Ifrane, Morocco (French)

• University of Alicante in Alicante, Spain (Spanish)

• Instituto Allende, Guanaguato, Mexico (Spanish)

• Peking University in Peking, China (Chinese)
           

    Many Spanish students have had successful study abroad experiences at the Universidad de Costa Rica in San José, Costa Rica.   Further information on the Costa Rica program can be obtained by contacting Mrs. Nona Anderson at andersonn@obu.edu
