EMPHASIS:  TEACHING

2013-2014

A Major in Kinesiology and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Teaching Physical Education, Wellness, and Leisure requires the completion of the University Core (55 hours) and a set of courses offered by the Department of Kinesiology and Leisure Studies (39 hours), and the Department of Education (36 hours).  A student who successfully completes this emphasis will obtain a secondary teaching and coaching endorsement from the state of Arkansas.  If you have a desire to coach and teach physical education then this emphasis is for you
