SafeConnect is used to grant access to the OUACHITA network.
SafeConnect ensures that only people associated with Ouachita have access to the network.
Web browser enabled devices such as PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets. Devices that don’t have a web browser need to be registered. See “What devices need to be registered?” below.
Connect to the OUACHITA WiFi network. Open a web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome or FireFox) and go to an external website, such as www.google.com or www.yahoo.com. You will be redirected to the SafeConnect log in page, where you can use your Tigermail username and password to log in. After you have logged in on your device it will be given access to the Internet.
On the SafeConnect log in page, click the “Password Help” link and follow the directions.
You will need to log in on each device one time each semester.
Devices that do not have a web browser (such as game consoles, Blu-ray players, smart TVs etc.) will need to be registered to work on the OUACHITA network.
Go to the device registration form and follow the instructions.
Students may register up to three devices for use on the OUACHITA network.
