                      What is the city of Arkadelphia, Arkansas like?

              Arkadelphia is a small, safe, southern city in Arkansas

• Population- approximately 10,000 people, not counting university students. 

• Arkadelphia has 2 universities totaling over 5,000 students.

• It is 7 miles from the magnificent DeGray Lake State Park, a perfect place for camping, fishing, swimming, boating, and relaxing with friends.

                                  

          

 

                     

          

• The community welcomes internationals and invites them to participate in festivals, parades, and community events.
• The local churches welcome all students and offer support and friendship.
• It is close to 3 major cities - Little Rock, Texarkana and Hot Springs.
• It is in an alcohol-free county - no alcohol may be purchased in the city.
• It is listed in the top 50 of America's SAFEST cities.
• Arkadelphia has a new water park open to the public.
• The universities in our city offer a variety of events, drama, music and lectures which are intellectually stimulating and entertaining.

It may be small, but it has much to offer!!
