The following items must be submitted to the address below before an
application for admission can be evaluated:

1. Application for Undergraduate Admission completed and signed.
2. US $150
- $50 non-refundable Application Fee - WAIVED!
- $50 Housing Deposit
- $100 Non-refundable SEVIS Registration Fee
**The housing deposit is refundable if the applicant cancels either before December 1st or before July 1st.
3. $1000 Tuition Deposit (refunded if denied visa).
4. 2 Recent Photos.
5. Completed Health Form.
6. Copy of the front page of your passport.
7. Official "International Student Certification of Finances" Form.
International students must be self-supporting. No loans or grants are available through OBU or the United States Government. Limited scholarships are available depending upon the application/award criteria. International students should check with their home governments to see if assistance is available for study abroad. United States permanent residents/resident aliens may apply for financial aid through OBU.

8. Original Financial Documents.
(Original bank statement showing amount of cost to attend OBU for 9 months. The "cost of attendance budget " can be viewed to see a estimated budget for cost of attendance to OBU as shown on the I-20. If the bank statement is not your personal bank statement, the "Affidavit of Support" form will need to be supplied from the person owning the bank account indicating that that person will be sponsoring you.) 9. Original TOEFL Score Report.
10. Official results of ACT or SAT which are used for scholarship purposes.
11. Official Transcript (HS and/or college) also sent directly to OBU.
12. ECE results: Send an official transcript (HS and/or college) to ECE.org for a
Course by Course evaluation.
Have them send the report to the International Education Office at Ouachita Baptist
University. These scores will be used for awarding merit based scholarships.
13. If you are transferring to OBU from another US institution, fill out the form Transfer form
It is preferable for the applicant to submit all application materials in one envelope.

Transfer from Foreign college or University:
Students who have earned college/university credit outside of the U.S. and who want to transfer that work to OBU, must complete an Application for Evaluation of Foreign Educational Credentials. An application must be completed and submitted with the required documents and fee for a "course-by-course" report to Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. No credit will be reviewed for possible transfer acceptance until a report is received.
