University of New South Wales
The University of New South Wales started its study abroad program in 1989 and it has become the most established program of its type in Australia. UNSW is ideally located for students to get the best out of their stay in Sydney – 20 minutes from the city centre and the airport and within walking distance of Coogee Beach. UNSW offers a wide range of program options, which gives study abroad students the opportunity to articulate through its short courses and semester program offerings.

• Second semester freshman classification at the time of selection
• A minimum of a 2.5 GPA
• Good standing with the University
• Written approval from the Dean of the school of the student’s major
The application deadline for study during a fall semester is March 1. For study during a spring semester, the deadline is October 1. Summer programs are also available.
