Before working for Ouachita, Bryan McKinney was
in the private practice of law as an associate with the law firm of McMillan, Turner,
McCorkle & Curry in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Bryan had a general civil practice
with an emphasis on insurance defense litigation.
At Ouachita, Bryan serves as in-house legal counsel to the University
where he deals with a variety of legal issues affecting institutions of higher education
on a daily basis. As a development officer, Bryan also has the opportunity to
consult with individual donors on the tax and legal implications of their gifts to the
University.
Bryan is actively involved in his church where he has taught Sunday
School for the previous five years. In addition to his church, Bryan provides
pro-bono legal services to several non-profit organizations.
Mr. McKinney is available for both workshop presentations and after-dinner speaking.
