Dr. Wayne Bowen is a historian of modern Europe, who
specializes in research and teaching on World War II, the Holocaust and Germany.
Professor Bowen has published articles on military history, the Soviet Union, and Latin
America. He is a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, currently serving in a Special
Operations unit, and during 1998 deployed to Bosnia-Herzegovina as part of the NATO-led
Stabilization Force. Dr. Bowen has spoken at conferences, before military audiences,
and to the general public on the Holocaust, the fall of Yugoslavia, Kosovo, and human
rights.
Dr. Bowen is available for both workshop presentations and
after-dinner speaking.
