Community Volunteer Placement Program

This program will seek to place Ouachita students, staff and faculty members in meaningful positions of service within non-profit organizations with a service mission.  These positions may be open to individuals or groups wanting to volunteer, or to students interested in work-study positions.  The center will work with the financial aid office to help place students in community work-study placements.  The center staff will endeavor to maintain contact with all major human service programs with the state of Arkansas.  In general, the center will attempt to facilitate communication between the university and the community in regard to community service objectives.
