Tiger Serve Day How to Get Involved
Across the street from the Elrod Center participants gather in the parking lot.
Upcoming Tiger Serve Days:
Fall: Saturday, September 27, 2008
Spring: Saturday, April 4, 2009
TIME: 8:30 am to 12 noon
On Tiger Serve Day, Ouachita students and faculty go into the streets of Arkadelphia to serve. From disaster relief to house cleaning to gardening to construction, the Ouachitonians join hands with local businesses, organizations, schools and individuals to help make Arkadelphia a better place.
Student-led teams of 6-8 people choose a place to serve, sign-up and go to work. The teams walk away from Tiger Serve Day with 6-8 new friends and a sense of fulfillment, while the recipients of the services acquire much needed help.
Tiger Serve Day is an opportunity...
-
for students and faculty to show the love of Christ through serving the community.
-
for local businesses and organizations to benefit from the help of volunteers.
-
for all involved to build strong, lasting relationships.
-
TO MAKE ARKADELPHIA A BETTER PLACE.
