DISCOVER THE OUACHITA DIFFERENCE

2009-2010 Academic Year Costs

Ouachita is not only a place where the love of learning and the love of God are combined, but it is an affordable choice in private higher education. The University consistently ranks in the top 5 of comprehensive colleges in the South according to US News and World Report. In conjunction with Ouachita being recognized as a highly regarded academic institution, US News has also included Ouachita in its listing of top 10 “Best Value” institutions for several years in a row.

A quick scan of the private higher education landscape in the mid-south shows Ouachita’s costs are in line and in many cases less than those of other similar private colleges and universities. A more expansive view of private colleges across the country shows Ouachita as an extremely affordable option. Costs for the 2009-2010 academic year are:

Fees* 220
Room & Board** 2,830
Per semester $12,300
Annual $24,600

* Fees consist of General Fee of $145, and Technology Fee of $75. Other minimal fees may apply for laboratory costs, private music lessons and other specific charges.
