Summer '09
Soon after finals ended, 12 students and 2 OBU staff headed to the pacific rim on a service trip. For security reasons, we won't post specific details, but here's a brief summary of the trip from one of the leaders and some pictures from their 3-weeks there: "Three student teams poured out their lives in the Pacific Rim during the month of May. Some participated in a cultural exchange at a local university, others worked with an English Center in a community, and still others traveled from village to village, meeting local people and building relationships. The team made new friends and learned a lot about each other, about the culture, about Islam, and about faith."
