Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1988);

Bachelor of Arts from Ouachita Baptist University (1985);

Currently at dissertation stage for a doctor of philosophy degree in New Testament from B. H. Carroll Theological Institute (B. H. Carroll Theological Institute)

Ministry Experience:

Beginning 6th year of full time teaching; 14 years pastoral experience; 5 years youth ministry experience; also involved in an outdoor Christian camping ministry (Outdoor Discipleship Ministries)

Professional Activity:

Pastor of Fellowship Church of Arkadelphia (Fellowship Church of Arkadelphia); Member of the Evangelical Theological Society

Current Writing:

Completing dissertation in the area of New Testament Greco-Roman backgrounds; writing for the new Baker Bible Dictionary

Personal Hobbies:

Canoeing, Fly-fishing, Backpacking, Watching Football

Family:

Married to Mona (Mona with Scott), with three children: Josh (age 19), Lauren (age 17), and Kaitlyn (age 12)
