CFW Leaders:

shawn picShawn Barnard (@shawn_barnard) is the senior pastor at Crossgate Church in Hot Springs. Shawn graduated from Ouachita in 1991 and went on to earn his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, including Kristen, who is a current student at OBU. Shawn has been involved in ministry for 20 years and has traveled internationally to preach and train pastors.

 

 

nathan picNathan James is a co-pastor of Epoch Church, Little Rock, which he planted with Grant Harrison. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2004 with a degree in Biblical Studies. He attended Golden Gate Seminary in Brea, California before moving back to Little Rock in 2005. Nathan has served on staff at Memorial Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas, First Baptist Church, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and California Baptist University, Riverside, California. Nathan is married to Natalie James and they have one child, Audrey.

 

 

Stephen picStephen Ray is a minister at Westbury Baptist Church in Houston, TX. He graduated from Ouachita in 2008 and continued his education at Rice University, earning a Masters of Music. In addition to leading worship and serving in student ministry, Stephen has performed with a number of symphony and opera companies.

 

 

 

allSandD picAll Sons & Daughters (@allSandDmusic) is the duo of David Leonard and Leslie Jordan. They begain in 2010 from Journey Church located in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee.  Jordan and Leonard met at Journey in the summer of 2009 where they began writing worship songs for their church family. Their evolution into a duo began when they started leading those songs together on Sunday mornings. Both currently serve on staff at Journey as Worship Designers in the Creative Arts Ministry. They will be leading worship on Tuesday night, Feb 12, at 7:30pm in JPAC.

 

 

noah picNoah James Mitchell (@noahjamesisgood)is a current OBU student who leads worship weekly at Refuge as well as at Midtowne Church in Benton, Arkansas, and at various church events in the region. You can find his original music in the iTunes store. He will be leading worship during a couple of CFW worship services.

 

 

 

amy garrett picAmy Garrett represents English Language Institute China. She graduated from Ouachita in with a degree in Mass Communications and History.  She has spent a total of 3 years teaching English in China through ELIC. Amy also has a MA in Intercultural Studies and TESOL from Wheaton College and has taught in a variety of ESL/EFL contexts, including teaching one semester at OBU.Originally from Hope, AR, Amy currently resides in Fort Collins, CO and has the privilege of working with recent college graduates from all over North America who are preparing to teach English in Asia with ELIC’s Teaching Fellowship Program.

 

Dan Arrant serves with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. After serving 2 years overseas with the Journeyman program, Dan is now a “J3″ in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he helps college students connect with missions opportunities.
