Spring is coming, so let’s get outside for some camping and canoeing on the Buffalo National River. The Buffalo is the first national river in the US, and hosts the largest population of elk in the region, as well as Hemmed-in Hollow, the highest waterfall between the Rocky and Appalachian mountains.
Dr. Chris Hanning from West Chester University will be our guest artist. He will perform with the Percussion Ensemble Monday night, possibly the Jazz Band Tuesday night, and the Steel Band on Wednesday night.
We did this trip last Easter and loved it so much we are heading back. We will be primitive camping Thursday night and then climbing at Jamestown Crag near Batesville, AR on Good Friday. We’ll break camp in time for you to be home for Easter Sunday so don’t miss out.
