|The event will start 9:00pm Tuesday night and go until 9:00pm Wednesday night. Students and staff will be invited to step into the footsteps of those trapped in slavery around the world; standing one day for their everyday. The event will include activities for students and staff to learn more about modern day slavery, and also provide ways to take action through donating, signing a petition, and standing. By standing, students and staff will join hundred of other colleges/universities around the world as they give a voice to the voiceless slaves trapped around the world. Snacks will be provided for those standing.|
|We would be on the Heflin bridge, with approximately 1000 water balloons filled with, you guessed it! Water. Several new members and current members will be below the bridge in the ravine, while the rest of the members and participants remained on the bridge. We would sell the balloons for .50 each. Those in the ravine will remain hidden beneath the bridge until somebody above yells “Go!”, then they will run about in the ravine, and those on the bridge will hurl said balloons upon them.|
