This coming Sunday evening, September 21, 2014, I will be holding my annual seminar/discussion group on graduate school. The meeting will take place in Mabee 408 from 6:00 PM to around 7:30 PM. The title of the session is: “Graduate School – Getting In, Staying In, Surviving It.”
This is an informal discussion and the purpose is to inform OBU students about the process of getting admitted to graduate and professional school and what a grad student can expect to experience while there. The information discussed can apply to students in any degree field so please make plans to attend if you can. The meeting is open to all students and current juniors and seniors are especially encouraged to attend.
If you plan to attend it would be helpful if you could send me a brief email letting me know so that I can be sure to have enough copies of the handout I will distribute.
GROW (Getting Ready for Ouachita’s World)
High school juniors and seniors are invited to experience life as a Ouachita student by attending classes, Tiger Tunes, a special outdoor Refuge worship service and our new Homecoming Purple Plaza Party, spending the night in a residence hall and visiting with current students and faculty members. Call Ouachita admissions at (800) DIAL-OBU or visit obu.edu/grow for registration information.
