Holding Walker Center for set-up & decorating for Donor’s Banquet
Below is a draft agenda for our fall faculty meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, at 3:30 p.m. in Young Auditorium. If you are aware of other items that need to be included, please let me know as soon as possible. Refreshments will be served in the lobby of Hickingbotham Hall beginning at 3:00 p.m., and the meeting will begin promptly at 3:30. I hope you can come early and enjoy some refreshments and conversation with colleagues prior to the meeting.
I want to remind you that all full-time, ranked faculty are expected to attend faculty meetings unless you have a class scheduled at the same time. If you have other unavoidable conflicts, please discuss the situation with your dean.
One of the items we will discuss is the proposed Syllabus Guidelines to be added to the Faculty-Staff Manual. Both the Deans’ Council and the University Committee have worked on the policy this semester. I’ve attached the current draft for your review. Only a few minor editorial changes have been made from a version distributed earlier this month by members of the University Committee.
Finally, if you have announcements to be included on the printed agenda, please send them to Jennifer Gills (email@example.com) in the Academic Affairs Office by 5:00 p.m. next Monday.
Student Senate meets every Tuesday @ 6-8pm.
