Our goal is to serve the students, faculty, and staff at OBU and provide the best possible information concerning all financial matters of the University.

The OBU Business Office, located on the first floor of the Cone Bottoms building, serves the campus in many ways. We are responsible for maintaining student records for expenses and payments. We also perform all accounting functions for Ouachita, maintaining records on the operating budget, endowment funds, loan funds, and federal awards programs.  We perform the purchasing function of the university, coordinate the campus card program, and maintain the telephone systems. 

In addition, the Human Resources department, now located on the third floor of the Cone Bottoms building, handles all of the personnel matters of the university including payroll processing, and the coordination of insurance and benefits for all faculty and staff members.
