Welcome to the Ouachita Bands web site!
Our Mission is to Educate and Entertain.
We Educate both performers and audiences through the rehearsal and programming of quality literature. All of the ensembles serve as learning labs for the prospective music teacher and professional musician.
The ensembles Entertain audiences with quality performances in a variety of concert opportunities. Through positive concerts and performances the ensembles become an effective public relations and recruiting tool for the University.
The primary goals for this website are:
- To keep current students, their families, and alumni updated on what is going on in the Instrumental Music Dept. at OBU
- To provide helpful information to prospective students seeking to learn more about our program
- To promote individual and ensemble achievements as well as upcoming events
- To provide access to the Instrumental Music Manual
