Ms. Heather Thayer will be performing this May with her brass quintet La Femmes Five at the Alfredo de Saint Malo Music Festival of Panama. She is also presenting a lecture recital of her dissertation on March 2 at UNT. The title of her dissertation is Helen Kotas (1916-2000): A Female Pioneer in Major US Orchestras. Ms. Thayer also presented a paper last May at the International Women’s Brass Conference.
