Playing her first
season with the Lady Tigers, Jamie transferred from
Louisiana Tech in January 1999. Jamie practiced but had
to sit out the Spring semester. 1997-98: Played in all 35
games for the Lady Techsters. Got her first collegiate
start in the first game of the season against
Tennessee...Averaged 18 minutes per game for the NCAA
Division I National Runner-ups...Finished sixth on the
team in scoring and seventh in rebounding...Had the best
free throw percentage on the squad...Reached
double-digits in points seven times, including a career
high of 14 against Northeast Louisiana. 1996-97: Played
in 34 of 35 games as a freshman... Averaged 20 minutes
per game...Reached double figures in scoring 11
times...Grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against
Eastern Kentucky...Averaged 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds
