Lady Tigers Ranked in Regional

ARKADELPHIA - The Ouachita Baptist University Lady Tigers are ranked fifth in the latest NCAA Division II Womens South Central Regional Basketball Poll.
Leading the region is Emporia (KS) State (20-2), followed by Central Missouri State (18-4), and Southwest (MO) Baptist University (tie for third with an 18-4 record) and West Texas A&M University (18-6) are tied for sixth, while Southeastern Oklahoma State University (15-6) is in eighth place. Pittsburgh (KS) State (15-7) is in the ninth place and Central Oklahoma (15-7) is in tenth place.
For the second week in a row, the Lady Tigers (18-6) stayed out of the Top 25 in the USA Today/Womens Basketball Coaches Association national poll. OBU had risen to as high as number 21 before losses impacted the standings. The Lady Tigers received four votes to finish number 35 in the weekly poll.
