UAM was led by Krisztina Hollosy with 16 points. Sharon Jones added 12 and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Just like the women, the Tigers had a poor first half performance, except in the case of the men, the hole was much deeper from which to climb out. After
20 minutes of action, Ouachita was behind 48-22.

At that point, the Tigers were only nine of 25 for 36 percent, while the Weevils were hitting on all cylinders by connecting on 20 of 38 for 53 percent. The second half saw OBU come alive, but the assault by UAM did not let up. For the second 20 minutes, OBU was a respectable 15 of 30 for 50 percent, while UAM was 15 of 25 for 60 percent.

The Sugar Bears are in a three-way tie for first place in the conference's West Division with the Delta State
University Lady Statesmen (15-1, 3-1) and the Harding University Lady Bisons (10-4, 3-1).
