Ouachita is truly a special place filled with extraordinary people, and the best way to experience the difference is to come see it for yourself. Visit us in Arkadelphia for one of our many planned events, or schedule your own personal tour at a time that works for you.
[ on your schedule ]
We would love to customize a personal campus tour at a time that works for your schedule. Tour campus, meet with the dean or coach in your area of interest, eat on campus and visit with your admissions counselor. We encourage you to schedule your visit on weekdays so that class is in session and professors are available. Personal tours are not available on days when we are hosting the events below. Begin by completing this online form or by calling 1-800-DIAL-OBU.
[ Fall 2013: October 18 & 21, November 1 & 11 ]
[ Spring 2014: January 17, February 17, March 10, March 14, April 4 ]
Tiger Days are special weekday events where you and your family can get a taste of what life is like at Ouachita. Current students give you an insider’s perspective on campus tours, you can visit a class in your field of interest and your parents can attend a Q&A session with university administrators. We now offer special Tiger Days that emphasize certain fields of study, so keep an eye out for your particular interest! Click below to see in-depth schedules and to register.
Join us for one of our regional receptions for high school students and their families. We will bring key Ouachita faculty and staff to various locations each year allowing you to meet face to face and get those important questions answered without traveling to campus. Check back periodically as we will be adding reception locations.
[ October 2-3, 2014 ]
See Ouachita from the eyes of its students by spending the night in the residence halls, sitting in on classes and attending a Tiger Tunes performance and Refuge service – all during OBU’s Homecoming Week. Your best opportunity to check out Ouachita firsthand is during this Thursday and Friday event exclusively for high school juniors and seniors. Parents are invited to come check out campus on Friday and visit with administrators, as well. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
