My name is Dawson Pritchard and I am the Admissions Counselor for central Arkansas and the New England states (CT, DE, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI & VT). I am from Denton, Texas, but had the joy of living in Arkadelphia during my four years at Ouachita. I graduated from Ouachita in May 2014 with my Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology.
I love to be active and run around playing soccer, rugby, ultimate frisbee, swimming, and anything else where I can be enjoy being outside. I collect piggy banks and recently got a Blue Heeler puppy named Rosie.
During my time at OBU, I was a member of the men’s swimming and diving teams and served as the tiger mascot for two years. I also worked as a student worker for the Ben M. Elrod Center for Family and Community. This was where I fell in love with serving others.
When I received a call from Ouachita to return as an admissions counselor, I jumped on the opportunity to join the team! I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve incoming students and show them the many reasons that I fell in love with OBU, as well as to help them find their own reasons to love it.
Please don’t hesitate to call or email me with any questions or comments! Feel free to schedule a campus visit so that I can have the pleasure of meeting you in person!
