Hi! My name is Brittany Pulido, and I am your admissions counselor for northeast Arkansas, the midwest U.S. (IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MO, NC, OH, SC, TN, VA, WV), Alaska and Hawaii.
I consider myself a Heinz 57 girl having grown up all over the South, but I was extremely blessed to have the Lord lead me to Ouachita where I quickly found a place to call home. My younger sister, Wendy, is my best friend, and she is also a Ouachitonian. I also have an amazing husband, Andy, who is about to graduate from nursing school.
When I graduated from Ouachita, I moved to Nicaragua for a year and a half to do mission work, and that is where God gave me a heart for the nations and specifically the Hispanic culture. Upon returning to the States, I moved to El Dorado, Ark., where I met Andy. While in El Dorado, I enjoyed assisting Andy in leading worship and the youth group at Centro Cristiano Hispano, and we are looking forward to serving the Lord together in Arkadelphia.
I am so excited to be back at my alma mater having the opportunity to share with others my passion for Ouachita. I made friends who became like family and was able to find a sense of belonging. I will be forever grateful to the university that grew me intellectually, spiritually and personally.
