What makes Ouachita different? There is an immediate sense of belonging that I felt as soon as I arrived. It is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. Students are excited about learning and their future, and our faculty and staff are just as excited to help them in their journey.

Hobbies/Interests: We enjoy camping and volleyball. We love to swim and boat on nearby DeGray Lake. I am interested in learning more about sewing and refurbishing old furniture!

Family: My husband, Robert, and I have been married for 8 years. He is the Assistant Superintendent at White Oak Lake State Park. We have 2 energetic children: Shelby who is 4, and JT who is 1 1/2. They are the joy of my life!
